About Dr. Antonio Del Valle
Dr. Del Valle, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, is one of a few oral surgeons in the New York region to earn both DMD and MD degrees. With more than 12 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Del Valle is a personable, accomplished, and skilled surgeon.
Dr. De Valle graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 1996, being awarded a DMD degree. He completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Seton Hall School of Health and Medical Sciences in 2000. After several years of practice, Dr. Del Valle attended Jefferson Medical College and graduated in 2007 with an MD degree. After graduating from medical school, he completed one year of general surgery residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in 2008.
His past professional experiences include Assistant Program Director of residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Medical Center and Chief of OMS at the Bronx VA Medical Center in affiliation with the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Del Valle has the distinction of being named diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He holds attending privileges at both the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center. He is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
About Dr. Shahin Shagoli
Dr. Shahgoli, a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, graduated number one in his class from dental school. With more than 8 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Shahgoli is a personable, accomplished, and skilled surgeon.
He was awarded a DDS degree in 1996 and completed a 2-year advanced education residency in general dentistry from Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. He completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Medical Center in New York City in 2003.
After residency, Dr. Shahgoli joined the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Centers of Ohio, a large private practice group in Columbus, where he became a partner. He also had the position of attending surgeon at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. In 2007, Dr. Shahgoli relocated to New York City where he has since been active in private practice and academia.
Dr. Shahgoli has the distinction of being named diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is the vice president of the Dental Study Club of New York. He has published several clinical articles and has given presentations at national meetings.
Currently, he divides his time between private practice and a teaching position at NYU College of Dentistry as a Clinical Assistant Professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He holds attending privileges at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Shahgoli is licensed in New York and Illinois. He is married to his wife, Ellie, who is an attorney in New York City and his hobbies include traveling and tennis
